Estimating Service

Our Estimating Division has over 25 years of experience in writing all types of estimates for residential and commercial insurance damage claims and general construction and remodeling. Our service is customized to fit our clients, whether your a Independent Adjuster, Home Owner, Lawyer, Public Adjuster or Contractor.

We use Xactimate 27, which is the number one estimating program in the insurance industry.

 

 

The Estimating Process

The Request

Client may request FPIC’s estimating service 3 ways:

1. By faxing a completed Request for Service form to 877-643-2134.

2. By emailing a completed Request for Service form to info@myfloridainspectors.com

3. By going to www.myfloridainspectors.com and clicking on the request for service tab and filling out the form for each estimate/report needed. Upon receiving the request via email a reply will be sent to client acknowledging request for services.

The Assignment

FPIC will assign service request to estimator based on workload and who can turn the estimate/report in the required time. The appointment for site inspection will be scheduled within 48 hours with your client.

Our estimator will scope the loss that will include:

An interview of your client will be performed and a written scope of damages to property will be completed.  

 

Photos of damaged areas will be taken of the dwelling (Coverage A) of each elevation of property, each section of the roof, and pictures also will be taken of each interior room with damage. Photos of damage to the others structures (Coverage B) such as fence, and sheds will be taken. The estimator will also accept photos from insured showing damage to the property before the day of our inspection. The photos from insured will be scanned and the originals will be given to client when estimate/ report are submitted.

The Results

All claim related information given to estimator by your client will be included in estimate. Examples are photos taken by insured, estimates and invoices for damages repaired or replaced by insured, contents worksheets filled out by insured.

Damage will be estimated in the order of the photos taken. A roof diagram with measurements will be included if required.

 

A Sworn Statement and Proof of Loss will be completed and turned in with estimate providing the required information is submitted.

 

Daily claims estimates will be emailed to client within 2 business days of inspection along with invoice for service, and catastrophe claims estimates will be emailed to client within 5 business days along with invoice for service.
